***This is a list of the most common consignor errors that we see. Although this is not a complete list, it will hopefully help you avoid being sent home with items that cannot be a part of the sale.***
1. DO NOT use paper for your tags. Paper is too easy to rip, therefore only card stock or index cards may be used.
2. DO NOT bring items that have ANY stains on ANY of the pieces.
3. Be sure to SECURELY FASTEN loose, smaller parts that go with a main toy (i.e. game cartridges, blocks, extra pieces, etc). If these become separated, we have no way to reunite them.
4. Make sure there is a PRICE on each tag and a TAG on each item you bring. If there is no price, it cannot be sold as we will not decide a price for you. If there is an item without a tag, we have no way of knowing who it belongs to. It will be pulled from the rack and placed into a "lost and found" pile at the end of the sale.
5. Car seats must include all parts, never been in an accident, and the consignor must be the original owner.
6. HANG as many items as possible. Clothing and blankets placed in bags do not sell as well as those that are hanging. Even onesies and sleepers can be hung! If it is a set of multiple clothing items, safety pin them all together on the hanger. Blankets should be hung through a hanger and then attached with a safety pin to help keep it on there.
7. DO NOT tape over your consignor number on the tag. At checkout we cut off the bottom portion of the tag that holds all of the information so we know what consignor it was and how much we owe them. You only need to place tape at the very top portion of your tag - anywhere else and it only becomes a hassle to get off at checkout, as well as more like to rip through your consignor number, price, etc.
8. All underwear being sold must be NEW in the package. We will not sell used underwear.
9. Remember to use $.50 increments and to price all of your items at $2.00 or above.
