The idea for Trendy Tykes was first started by a stay-at-home mom who wanted to be able to bring in an income, but also be available to her three kids. As the amount of outgrown clothes from their own three children started to increase, both parents agreed that a children's sale was right for them on many levels. Also, with both always quick to lend a helping hand, it was agreed from day one that they would incorporate a donation program to give back to the community with each sale.
